Day Conference (2016) "Students in the Digital Age"

For second consecutive year, our Centre conducted the scientific conference titled:

'Students in the Digital Age: Thinking-Learning-Problem Solving'

This workshop intended to make parents, teachers and psychoeducation professionals aware of the new potential and challenges that children face today for receiving, processing and evaluating information, thus, to think, learn and solve (math) problems.

Nowadays, the exposure of young people in New Technologies creates new response demands of human brain, so the early exercise of cognitive processes is essential. However, NT rather facilitate, than substitute, thinking and learning. The problem solving process seems to be the most important skill in mathematical logic and related sciences.

The event took place at the municipal cultural centre of Kalamata, on September 17th 2016.

Thank you all.
